WEEK 12

11/28-12/4

This week was a continuation of our individual tasks to prepare for the final report. Sooah made significant progress on the CAD design and mechanical drawings. Camryn looked into biomaterials and contacted Dr. MacEwan, who suggested we consider P4HB and PCL, in addition to PDS, which is what we originally had in mind. Hayden finished up his research on FDA approval pathways and created a plan for verification and validation. The design is coming together well for the final report, and we are hopeful that we will be able to prototype it next semester.

We are planning to meet this afternoon to discuss the details of our progress this week, and will meet with Dr. Felder on Sunday to go over any questions and update him on our progress. The upcoming week will be spent putting our final report together.
