We met as a team to talk over our current brainstormed solutions and determine which ones are worth evaluating in our Pugh chart. We decided to break up our designs into methods to fixate the device into the tissue, ways to bring the edges of the incision together, and possible additions we might add to increase safety and reliability. The combination of these attributes will determine our final design. We discussed how we plan to break up the progress report and determined which categories we are going to use in our Pugh chart to evaluate our design alternatives.

We are continuing to refine our designs and work with them on CAD. As we write the report and evaluate the solutions using the Pugh chart, our final solution will become more clear. We are also in the process of thinking about what happens when the best attributes separately could not fit together as a whole, and are looking for ways to circumvent that.
