WEEK 5

This week, we started by talking with Dr. Felder about starting the brainstorming process. Our group members had a brainstorming session to start thinking broadly about possible solutions. We thought about general ways to bring edges together and ways to secure possible devices in the body. We also discussed possible bioresasorbable 3D printed materials such as polydioxanone.
We also were focused on the preliminary presentation. Hayden was responsible for finishing the slides and recording the presentation. We also attended the SLING health group leaders meeting, in which we discussed the future of the project, including the possibility of patenting and how that would look.

In the upcoming week, we will be focused on coming up with more concrete brainstormed solutions. We aren't sure how many design alternatives we are looking for. We will also be thinking about possible biomaterials. We are excited to push ahead with the project!
